Before having my two boys I was quite fit and a comfortable size 12, enjoying a career in sales for a major Health Insurance Company. Following the birth of my first son I didn't lose my baby weight and then along came my second son. Combining being a mum, wife and having a full time job all the exercise went out of the window.  I was left with the baby weight and a bit extra, and I continued to gain weight when we moved to the USA. By now I was relatively inactive and far too heavy, and frankly miserable.

I was approaching my 40th birthday and decided I was not going to be the "big girl "at my 40th birthday. So having spent years of trying every diet going, losing weight and gaining it back, I decided to employ a personal trainer and address what I was eating for the first time in a sustainable way.

I gradually lost the weight at a steady 2lbs a week with a healthy eating program and exercise and ,whilst it was hard in the beginning, it gradually became a way of life, and I have kept the weight off!

When we finally settled back in Flackwell Heath Buckinghamshire, and having finally lost my weight  and kept it off, I decided to fulfil a long term ambition to qualify as a personal trainer, so that I might help other people like me change their lifestyle, and feel healthy and great about life. I qualified with a Diploma in Personal Training and I am now passionate about helping adults and children to change their lifestyle, get fit, and enjoy the experience of exercise and a healthy diet.

 I know from my own experience that it is not easy, but it is possible. With some help and encouragement from me, you too can achieve a healthy lifestyle.
