BOSU Core Stability Training.

The BOSU Balance Trainer is one of the most exciting tools to recently hit the fitness world .Why? Because you can use it for many different activities, all while working with the added benefit of good core strength training.

The BOSU is like an exercise ball that's been cut in half with a platform on the bottom. You can use it dome-side-up for cardio, lower body strength, or core moves. Or, you can turn it over and use the platform side for upper body exercises, like push-ups, or more core moves, like planks.

Suspension Training

In real life our bodies move functionally, What I mean by that is they twist and turn, reach from side to side, forward and diagonally. When we train at the gym we normally train in a linear way, lifting weights up and down for example.

Suspension training challenges that theory and looks to deliver a more functional training option, integrating all of the normal motions you would do in everyday real life.

Suspension training brings superior muscular balance, joint stability, and core strength helping you perform better in any sport as well as improving posture.

It is versatile, portable and harnesses your own body weight for resistance so no need for any extra weights.

Sports Specific Training

When training for a specific sport a good base level of fitness is required.

But by concentrating your training plan around a specific sport and incorporating a training plan that concentrates on the individual parts of your sport you can dramatically improve your performance. For example in pre season  fitness training footballers, it is important to concentrate on what happens in a football game, most of the game consists of 25 Meter sprints, with the players changing direction every 6 seconds and running backwards 7% of the game.

It is therefore important to make sure the training plan incorporates these activities and seeks to improve them hence improving performance. If you are training for a race or to improve your individual performance in your chosen sport, then I can create a specific program for you.
