I am passionate about enjoying a healthy Lifestyle, whilst remembering that it is important to enjoy life as well!
My philosophy to a healthy lifestyle is 'everything in moderation', served up with a healthy amount of regular exercise; this can be anything from a brisk walk with the dog, a dance class right through to a heavy duty workout in the gym! The important thing is to find out what works for you and how to incorporate the exercise into your normal day to day life, because I want to help people change their relationship with food and exercise in the long term and do not want to offer an unrealistic 'quick fix'.
To do this, I employ a holistic approach. So you won't hear me talking about "going on a diet" or boot camp style exercise! Together we will focus on working together towards helping you make better choices about both food and exercise.
Personally, I have a special interest in working with adult's who are experiencing issues with their weight and have convinced themselves that they will never be able to get fit or lose that weight, even if you may have tried a thousand times and failed. I can empathise and really know how hard it can be as I have been there. However, I know that it is possible to achieve this goal, and with my help and support you can succeed this time!
I am also specially qualified to work with children and teenagers who have weight issues, which is sadly an area of growing concern, socially. I can put together a program of exercise and healthy eating for the child or teenager and family, to bring about a long term change in lifestyle and provide healthier, more informed choices about what food to prepare and buy. Again, this is an area I feel passionate about, and find great rewards in seeing these successful children gain in confidence as they get fitter and healthier.
Environment is also of importance when looking to get fitter. I can offer training in your own home, in the local park or if you would prefer a little more privacy I have my own fitness studio, so you can train without feeling self conscious too.

"I contacted Jacqui to ask if she could help the boys with pre-season fitness training as this has been an area of the game we needed to work on. The training exercises she set up for the boys were brilliant focussing on stamina and speed which the lads worked hard at and also enjoyed . Now the team are reaping the rewards in the matches and the improvement in fitness is evident to all who watch . We will be looking to do a few more sessions through the season and definately next pre-season. |
